Beverly Le Sage

Beverly M. Le Sage, age 64, of Toledo passed away Friday, June 3rd, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 7th, 1947 to Vincent and Winifred (Strebendt) Sodd in Toledo. Beverly married Keith Le Sage on August 23rd, 1969 and he preceded her in death in 2001. She was a member of Christ the King where she previously served as a Eucharist minister and had been a sponsor for R.C.I.A. candidates. In her spare time, Beverly enjoyed crafting and embroidery. She was proud of her children, their spouses and her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Laura (Dennis) Pool and Gary (Sarah) Le Sage; grandchildren, Ethan, Braden, Conner and Elle; sister, Tina (Bob) Rehkopf; brothers, Chris (Luann) Sodd and Doug Sodd; brother-in-law, Ken Le Sage and sister-in-law, Jeanne Hochstedler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Gary and sister, Toni.

The family will receive guests Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with a Scripture Service beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King, 4100 Harvest Lane. Entombment will take place in Toledo Memorial Park.
