Beverly J. Erd, 81, went to be with her daughter in Heaven on June 17, 2013. She was born on April 17, 1932 to the late Dorothy and Albert Gates in Toledo, Ohio.
Beverly and her husband, Jack were long-time members of St. Francis de Sales Parish and most recently members of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Parish. She volunteered at Heartbeat of Toledo and was a member of the Altar Society and Mother's Club at St. Francis. Beverly and Jack enjoyed spending time at the lake together, ballroom dancing and square dancing. She also loved cooking, crocheting and spending time with her family, especially during the holidays.
In addition to her parents and daughter, Beth Ann, Beverly was preceded in death by her brother, Billy. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 64 years, Jack; children, Sharon (Tom) Glassmoyer, Joyce and Ronnie (Lynn); brother, Charles (Suzanne); grandchildren, Tommy (Julie), Brian (Jenny), Jacob (Missy), Jimmy (Marcia), Jennifer (Dave), Greg (Amy), Josh (Jamie), Andy and Anna and 14 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive guests from 9-10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo. The Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Heartbeat of Toledo or St. Jude Children's Research Foundation.
