Beverly Jane Grimm was born January 3, 1932 to Alice and Martin Lenfestey in Toledo, OH. She passed away January 11, 2008 at age 76 after a long illness.
She is survived by her husband William H. Grimm, son William (Kim), grandchildren Marie Savett (Sam,great grandson Nolan), Sarah, Billy and John Grimm. Son David (Linda), grandchildren Alicia, Elizabeth, and Rob Grimm. Daughter Mary Palmer (Al), and granddaughter Holly of Gowen, MI. Her sisters Mrs. Joyce (Lee) Thomas of Neapolis and Mrs. Joan (Rev. Roger) Marlow of Wauseon also survive her.
She attended DeVilbiss High School and graduated in 1949. She married William in 1953.
Bev was a long time member of Lutheran Church of Our Savior and was involved in many church activities until her illness. She also enjoyed gardening and flower arranging (past member of Panoramic Garden Club of Toledo). Bev also enjoyed camping, fishing, travel and genealogy.
She worked for several Toledo area businesses in a secretarial capacity but spent the majority of her career at the University of Toledo. After retiring, Bev started college and fulfilled a lifelong ambition of completing her bachelor's degree from UT. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 19th at 11 am at Lutheran Church of Our Savior on Alexis Road in Toledo. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Lutheran Church of Our Savior or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
