Beverly Bickel

Beverly L. Bickel, age 52, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at Arbors at Sylvania. Beverly was born May 29, 1952 to Robert and Ruth Hinds. She was a resident of San Diego, CA and Virginia for 28 years before moving back to Toledo. Beverly was a veteran of the US Marines. She was a medical coder and recorder for Balboa Hospital in San Diego. Beverly was a member of the Woman's Bowling Association, enjoyed shopping and latch hook. She was an avid animal lover, taking in pets to give them a home.

Beverly is survived by her loving son: Brian (Missy) Bickel; sisters: Barb (Ken) Miller and Bonnie King; Uncle David and Aunt Thelma Hartzog; brother & sister-in-law: Kit (Donna) Bickel; her special friend Nancy; a host of nieces, nephews, and other brother and sister-in-laws; and her pets. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas, and her parents.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, April 30, 2005 from 2 – 7 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo, (419-473-0300). With Funeral Services beginning at 7 p.m. Pastor Jerry S. Craig officiating. The family requests that donations be made to the Toledo Humane Society or Planned Pethood.
