Betty Wiley

Betty Joyce Wiley, age 85, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully April 24, 2023 at Ebeid Hospice. Betty was born February 13, 1938 in Toledo to Glenn and Louise (Allen) Griesinger. She was employed with the Washington Local Schools for 30 years. Betty was a member of Monclova Road Baptist Church in Monclova, Ohio.

Betty was recently preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Madison Wiley, Jr.. She is survived by her children, Susan Melchert, William (Tina) Wiley, Beth (Brian) Lohmann, and Daniel (Peggy) Wiley; grandchildren, Corey (Heidi) Melchert, Kellie (Randy Hammaker) Melchert, Sean (Valerie) Melchert, Kyle (Beth) Wiley, Kayli Wiley, Allana (Joel) Holtz, Eric (Christina) Lohmann, Craig (Ashley) Lohmann, Elise (Gene Kaser) Lohmann, Ashley Wiley; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, James Wiley, Michael Wiley, Patricia Jahns, and Arlene Griesinger; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Donald Griesinger.

The family will receive guests Monday, May 1, 2023 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Monclova Road Baptist Church, 7819 Monclova Road (419-866-0773). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 12:00 pm at the Church. Burial will follow at Dutch Ridge Cemetery in Delta, OH.
