Betty Lou Fisher

Betty, 87, went to be with the Lord on October 23rd, 2011. She was born on May 31st, 1924 in Denver, Colorado to the late Glenn and Lillian Duke.

Betty enjoyed spending time with the "Garden Club" ladies and the "Chippewa Golferettes." She loved her pets dearly, especially her cat, Sadie "The Lady."

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Bert; sister, Estermae Caswell; son, John and grandson, Ashley. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Dennis E. (Peta) Fisher, Karen (Chris) Cooley, Suzanne Fisher; grandchildren, Vaness, Jonathan (Carrie), Jason (Stephanie), Matt (Robin), Becca (Paul), Shane (Jenipher); several great and great-great grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) from 2-4:00 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 4:00 p.m. Christopher Roper officiating. A private burial will take place.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to: Odyssey Hospice, 1747 Indian Wood Circle, Suite 200, Maumee, 43537.
