Betty Lynn (Perry) Lance, age 77, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away August 14, 2022, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Betty was born on June 22, 1945. Betty loved her family fiercely and loved celebrating holidays and birthdays all together as much as we could, this brought her so much joy! When her boys played hockey in High School you would always find her in the stands cheering them on (or climbing the glass to protect them if a fight broke out). She was proud to be from Kentucky and loved Bluegrass Music and on occasion could be found doing the Hillbilly stomp with her sisters. Back in the day, she could play a mean game of pool. She also loved watching her Dallas Cowboys play and if they beat any of our teams she would let us know.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Lance of Toledo, Ohio; son, Bobby (Karen) McMillan of Delta, Ohio; and daughters, Barb Lawrence of Northwood, Ohio, Rita McMillan of Toledo, Ohio, and Tracy (Paul) Sorrell of Holland, Ohio; 7 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren with the last due to be born in August; stepchildren, Lee (Tiffany) Lance, Josh (Tonya) Lance, and Mandy (Bryan) Myhan, all of Lawrenceburg TN; 19 step-grandchildren; and 1 step-great-grandchild; brother, Roy Perry of VanWert, Ohio; and sisters, Joyce Brown of Dearborn, Michigan, Lela Shelton of Toledo, Ohio, and Darlene Lawson of La Follette, TN; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
