Betty L. Seawell, age 76, of Oregon and formerly of Toledo, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2014 at Heartland of Oregon. She was born on September 20, 1937 to John and Melda (Spradlin) Perry in Verda, Kentucky.
At Betty's request, all services will be private. Interment will take place in Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle, Michigan.
I'd like the memory of me
to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow
of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo
whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times
and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve,
to dry before the sun
of happy memories
that I leave when life is done.
