Betty L. (Fall) Johns

Betty L. (Fall) Johns, age 82, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo with her loving family by her side. She was born February 23, 1932 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to Charles and Theresa (Dumbeck) Gorsuch.

She was employed by W. T. Grant Co. until the store closed and retired from Rite Aid in 2001. She was a lifetime member of St. Clement Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and never missed her annual trip to Frankenmuth.

Betty is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Ellery Johns; daughter, Deborah (Michael) Frost and son, Dennis (Nicole) Fall and Nicole's daughter, Ally. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Todd (Mindy) Frost, Brian Frost and Steven Fall; three step-grandchildren, Penny (Jeff) and two other step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Ethan, Hannah and Brady Frost; step-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles Gorsuch.

The family will receive guests on Monday, May 19, 2014 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). A Scripture Service will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 9:15 a.m. followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Clement Church, 3030 Tremainsville Rd. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
