Betty J. Kranz, age 94, passed away January 29, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg. She was born December 19, 1927 in Massillon, OH to Ralph and Alice (Stanz) Hamilton. Betty was employed with the Toledo Hospital for more than 20 years. She was a parishioner of Corpus Christi University Parish.
In addition to her parents, Betty was also preceded in death by her husbands, William Wumer and Tom Kranz, Sr; sons, Tom Kranz, Jr and Ted Kranz and sister, Shirley Novak. She is survived by her children, Russ (Susan) Wumer, Mindy (Robert) Nottage, Cathy (Richard) Dzienny, Barbara Yamano, Carol (Jim) Potter, Betsy Villarreal, Tim Kranz, Terry (Anne) Kranz; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; brother, Robert Hamilton.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi University Parish, 2955 Dorr Street, Toledo, OH 43607.
The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio and St. Claire Commons for their loving care of Betty.
