Betty Kerlin

Betty R. Kerlin, age 76 of Toledo passed away after a lengthy illness Saturday, October 9, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 19, 1934 to Tilman and Nora (Collins) Bussell in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Betty married William T. Kerlin Sr. on March 6, 1954 and together they spent 57 wonderful years. Betty was a member of Faith Baptist Church and member of Pythian Sister, Auburn Temple #163 for a good part of her life. She worked at Tana Corporation for a number of years as a press operator and she enjoyed playing cards with friends and tending to her roses and garden. Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, William T. Kerlin Sr.; children, William Kerlin Jr., Richard Kerlin, Jimmy (Patty) Kerlin, Anna Kerlin and Tim (Melanie) Post; seven grandchildren; sister, Gwen Sylvester and brother, Howard Bussell.

The family will receive guests Tuesday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Dan Adams. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
