Betty Jane Rose

Betty J. Rose, age 72, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2013 where she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 5, 1941 to Joseph and Thelma (Lyons) Jinkens in Toledo. Betty's greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother; she was very active in their day to day lives and was able to enjoy scuba diving, sea shelling and gardening with them. She also enjoyed celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas with her family; she went all out for these two holidays and her family will forever remember this about her.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, April (Randy) Hasenbalg; James (Bobbie) Rose and George (Monica) Rose; grandchildren, Jeremy (Rhiannon) Galen, Shawn Ryan, Erin, Eric, Eathan, Evan, Eli, Ellis, Eleon, Eja and Chelsie; loving of husband of 52 years, Ronald W. Rose, Jr.; brother, James "Punkin" Jinkens; many nieces and nephews and neighborhood friend, Mr. Greene. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her two daughters, Dawn Glover and Cheryl Parchment; siblings, twin brother, Bobby, Kenneth, George and Delbert.

The family will receive guests on Friday, August 30, 2013 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.

Per Betty's final request she wished to lovingly thank her daughter, April and her husband, Randy and her grandchildren, Jeremy, Rhiannon and Galen for all the loving years of care that you provided her with, it took her breath away.

The family would like to specially thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio for all the care and support that was given to Betty and her family.
