Betty J. Cousino (Heil), 72, passed away peacefully with her children by her side on August 3, 2013. She was born on January 31, 1941 to the late Margaret and Nelson Cousino in Toledo, Ohio.
Betty was a loving, caring mother and dedicated wife. She enjoyed spending most of her time with her family, friends and in her garden. Betty adored her grandchildren and was always at any of their activities including graduations, birthday parties and sporting events. She worked at Century 21 as a Realtor and then for Olan Mills and LifeTouch coordinating photo shoots around Northwest Ohio. Betty will be remembered for her strength, sense of humor and perseverance.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kelly (Dennis) Roberts, Brian (Jackie) Heil and Brad (Pamela) Heil; sister, Mary Lou (Jerry) Ramasocky; grandchildren, Matthew, Marcus, Gabrielle, Lauren, Katy, Haley, Jennifer, Alex and Nicholas; great-granddaughter, London; former husband of 30 years, Brian; loyal group of close friends and her furry companion, Rocco.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., (419-381-1900). A Scripture Service will begin at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd.
To anyone wishing to leave memorial donations, the family requests Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Betty's caregivers at Spring Meadows Senior Community, Heartland of Waterville and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for all of their care and compassion.
