Betty J. Hendrickson

Betty J. Hendrickson, age 86, of Toledo, passed away peacefully December 15, 2020 at Ebeid Hospice Residence surrounded by loving family. She was born on September 16, 1934 to Boyd and Helen Deerwester in Toledo. Betty was a graduate of Burnham High School. She was mainly a homemaker and also worked assisting her husband Milo at their business Milo Hendrickson Roofing & Siding for many years. Betty was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling and gardening. She loved traveling to Las Vegas with family. Betty looked forward to time spent with her family especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her other father, Karl Wood; husband, Milo Hendrickson; and brother, Kenneth Deerwester. Betty was the best mom to, Ricky (Beverly), Robert (Patricia) and Randy (Jill) Hendrickson; grandchildren, Karri (Ryan), Kevin, Joshua (Lindsey), and Lance (Christina); great-grandchildren, Alaina, Paige, Bailey, Carson, Landon, Adalyn, Owen, and Allison; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Graveside Services will take place Monday, December 21, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at Toledo Memorial Park, 6382 Monroe St., Sylvania, OH. (Meeting at the cemetery). Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel (419-473-0300) is assisting the family with professional services. (For the safety of the Hendrickson family and their guests masks are required with social distancing).
