Betty (Hahn) Honisko

Betty (Hahn) Honisko, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Monclova Otterbein.
She was born to Clara (Fisher) and Merlin Hahn February 17, 1926. She graduated from Waite High School. In January of 1946 she married James Honisko. She was a caregiver to him from 1960-2001. Betty was a Secretary at Hahn and Hayes Architects from 1960 – 1988. She retired and they moved to Port Charlotte, Florida where they made many good friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James; sisters, Joyce and Verlyn; brothers-in-law, Leon and Roy; her son, Rick and her daughter-in-law, Mary.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandy (Bob) Young; grandchildren, Matthew (Jill) Young, Nathan (Kristi) Young, Andrea (James) Born, Marcia Honisko and Eric Honisko; great-grandchildren, Paige Young, Bailey Young, Ethan Young, Charleston Young, Clara Young, Addie Born, Elise Born and Tess Born; and many nieces and nephews.
Due to the current pandemic, a Celebration of Betty's life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Village, Otterbein of Monclova or Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Betty's memory.
