Betty H. King, 78, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2013. She was born on April 20, 1934 to the late Elma and Mose Hedrick in Charleston, West Virginia.
Betty retired from Washington Locals Schools after over 20 years of service. She was a loving mother and an amazing cook; her specialty was "Alabama Biscuits." Betty was married to the late Sherman E. King, Jr. for over 40 years.
She is survived by her children, Dana (Kathy) King, Jane A. Raab, Brian (Lisa) King; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive guests on Monday, January 14, 2013 from 10-11:00 a.m. at Church of the Cross, 1806 Cass Road, Toledo. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to either the Church of the Cross or West Virginia University, Dept. of Family Medicine, 1 Medical Center Dr., Morgantown, WV 26506.
