Betty Miharu Emery, age 91, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2023 at Ebeid Hospice. Betty was born March 24, 1932 in Kona, Hawaii to Kenzo and Miyako (Sugimoto) Tabata. She was employed with Seaway Food Town, Gordon Foods and Cetera Advisors for more than 50 years retiring in 2019.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Richard, Bertha, and David. She is survived by her daughter, Norma Springer; son, Earl (Beth) Emery; favorite grandchildren, Jennifer (Cameron) Amies and Benjamin Springer; siblings, Clyde (Carol) Tabata, Sam Tabata, Jack (Evelyn) Tabata, Dorothy Erickson, Nancy Holt, Irene Tabata, and a host of family and friends.
