Betty I. Converse
Betty I. Converse, age 83, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at Foundation Park Care Center. She was born on December 22, 1921 to Walter and Myrtle (Davis) Byers in Toledo. Betty was a Sales Clerk for many years with the Lion Store. She enjoyed flowers and gardening in her spare time, but nothing delighted her more than being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Betty is survived by her daughter: JoAnn (Robert W.) Johnson; son: Rudy V. Converse; grandsons: Brian P., and Robert "Bruce" (Theresa) Johnson; great-grandson: Joshua James Johnson; and sister: Margaret R. Williams. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy Converse, grandson, David E. Johnson, and brothers, Albert and Walter Byers.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo, (419-473-0300) on Friday, May 13, 2005 from 10-12 p.m. where Funeral Services will take place at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Springfield
Township Cemetery.
