Bettie J. "Gram" Adamski, age 88, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Friday, September 17, 2021 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 10, 1933 to Clarence and Mabel (Geahlen) Patton in Liberty Center, Ohio. Bettie graduated from Liberty Center High School. She worked as a secretary throughout her career until retiring at the age of 75. Bettie enjoyed traveling, and having get-togethers for the holidays with her family. She was a hard worker and was always helping others. Bettie loved nothing more than spending time with her family, most importantly all of her grandchildren. They were the light of her life. Bettie's smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Burton "Bill" Rieger and Melvin Adamski; special friend, Hollie Flickinger; and 6 siblings. Bettie is survived by her loving son, Gregory Rieger; sister, Bonnie (Victor) Plassman; former daughter-in-law, Carol Stebbins; grandchildren, Carolynn, Tracy (Jason), Kristina, and Jason; great-grandchildren, Michayla, Tyler, Alexander, Brandyn, Clifford, Cameron, Deiondre and Addison; great-great-grandchildren, Mason and Arrabella; best friend, LaRena Callahan; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
There will be no visitation or services for Bettie to honor her wishes. Newcomer Funeral Home, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
