Beth Ann Brywczynski, 63, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 25, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 19, 1961, to Richard and Marian Chipps in Toledo, Ohio.
Beth graduated from Start High School in 1979, where she met the love of her life, James Brywczynski. They married and spent 43 wonderful years together, raising three children: Jacob, Megan, and Benjamin.
A devoted mother and the backbone of her family, Beth was known for her sharp wit, unwavering strength, and deep love for her loved ones. Her passion for equality and women’s rights was a cornerstone of her life, inspiring others through her advocacy and compassion. A lover of music and literature, Beth also authored children’s books and wrote poetry, sharing her creativity with the world.
Beth’s love of animals, especially horses, brought her joy throughout her life. Her beloved dog, Zeke, held a special place in her heart as a loyal companion who brought her comfort and happiness during life’s ups and downs. She cherished traveling and found great joy in visiting the Bahamas, a destination that brought her peace and happiness. The Great Smoky Mountains also held a special place in her heart, as it was where she spent her honeymoon with James and returned often to relive those cherished memories.
Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Marian Chipps. She is survived by her husband, James Brywczynski; children Jacob (Elizabeth) Brywczynski, Megan (Maxson) Ocke, and Benjamin (Cheyenne) Brywczynski; grandchildren Edison Brywczynski and Gia Ocke; and brothers Richard Chipps, Gregory (Mary) Chipps, and Thomas (Robin) Chipps.
In keeping with her wishes, Beth will be cremated, and a celebration of her life will be held in the spring.
Beth’s love, strength, and light will continue to shine in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
