Beth Kwiatkowski

Beth Kwiatkowski passed away, peacefully, on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. She was born on December 1, 1955 in Toledo, Ohio to Norma and James Gilbert.

Beth graduated from Bowsher High School in 1968. She worked many years at Montgomery Ward, Sylvania Savings Bank, Fifth Third Bank, and Suburban Federal Bank.

Beth met her husband, Bernie, at Highland Lanes in 1976 and married on November 10, 1977. They enjoyed their honeymoon at Penn Hills Estate and went on to spend numerous vacations at various lakefront cottages.

Beth was an avid reader, enjoyed solving word search puzzles, finding the hidden gems in the scratch off tickets, and watching Wheel of Fortune with Bernie. But mostly, she loved being a wife and was the best. Beth also loved providing the utmost care for the three generations of pets that her and Bernie have had throughout the years, inside and outside the home. Bernie promises to continue to care and love your baby’s, Jack, Jill, Gracie, and Jackie, just like he has for you.

Bernie and Beth always reminded each other of their love. Beth’s favorite phrase was “I love you, too”.

She is survived by husband of 47 years, Bernie; step-daughter, Julia Gray; step-granddaughters, Hunter Davis and Dorian Monroe; brother, Mark; her four pets, Jack, Jill, Gracie, and Jackie; brother-in-law, Frank (Mary), Jerry (the late Dian), Rich (Judy), Joe, Carl (Billie), and sister-in-law, Chris (the late Fred Fleitz); numerous nieces and nephews; and most importantly, her longtime friends, Tina & Joe, Tim & Angie, Rick & Sherrie; She is preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Mary.

Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation for Beth on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Chapel (4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, OH). Immediately following, a service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel.
