Bernice Hawkins Robinson-Bryant

Bernice Hawkins Robinson-Bryant, age 90, of Toledo, OH passed away October 18, 2021 at Divine Healthcare. Bernice was born April 10, 1931 in Milan, TN to Preston and Allie (Sturdivant) Hawkins.
She gave her life to Christ at an early age in Philips Chapel CME in Milan, TN. After moving to Toledo, Bernice was affiliated St. Stevens CME Methodist Church. Later joining Grace Temple Church of God and Christ.
Bernice attended Gibson County Training School in Milan, TN. She was employed at Mercy Hospital as nursing aide. Also participating as a Grandparent for Toledo Public Schools where she was able to care for many children in the community.
Bernice was also preceded in death by her loving parents. She is survived by her Brother, John (Mary) Hawkins; Sons, Jimmy D. Robinson and Bondee Ron Robinson; 14 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren, and host of first cousins, relatives and friends.
The family will receive guests Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions-Southwest Chapel, (419-381-1900). Memorial Services will begin Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home
