Bernice E. Adkins
Bernice "Bea" E. Adkins, age 75, of Lambertville, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at St. Anne-Mercy Hospital. She was born May 14, 1933 in Toledo. Bea was employed with the former Boron Oil Company for 15 years. She and husband Dick are lifetime members of Riverview Yacht Club.
She was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Clifford & Bertha LaGro. Bea is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Richard "Dick" Adkins, Sr.; sons, James A. (Danielle) and Richard "Rich" J. (Anna) Adkins, Jr.; daughter, Janet L. Adkins; sister, Erma Stowe; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; Many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, "Freckles".
The family will receive guests Saturday from 10:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
