Bernard "Bernie" F. Smyth, age 64, of Toledo, Ohio passed away January 10, 2014 at Ebeid Hospice Residence. He was born January 2, 1950 in Toledo to Donald and Martha (Hanjora) Smyth. Bernie was employed with the AP Parts for more than 30 years. He was a handyman that enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Bernie is survived by his daughters, Nancy A. (Butch) Wamer and Kimberly J. (Jeff Kleinert) Smyth; grandchildren, Amanda D. Alfarah, Michael Alfarah, Hunter Dennis, Jordan Wamer and Dakota Wamer; great-granddaughter, Madeline Curtis; brother, Kevin (Michaline) Smyth; nephews Matthew and Leo Smyth and their families. In addition to his parents, Bernie was preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Smyth.
The family will receive guests Monday, January 13, 2014 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
