Bernard E. Nagel Jr.

Bernard E. Nagel Jr., age 66, passed away on June 5, 2014. He was born on September 29, 1947 to the late Norma Mae and Bernard Sr. in Toledo, Ohio.

Bernie retired from Local 18 Ohio Engineers after many years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Combat Engineers and was stationed in Germany. Bernie was very passionate about his Harley Davidsons and had many throughout his life. He also enjoyed collecting guns and hunting. Bernie's friends and family will miss his humor and quick-witted comments.

In addition to his parents, Bernie was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Janice McCracken. Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, James R. (Sharon) Bigley Sr., Pam (Mary Sinclair) Nagel, Kent (Tina) Nagel and John (Elden Smith) Nagel; many nieces and nephews and close friends and his beloved cat, Fonzie.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from Noon-4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 4:00 p.m.
