Beatrice Grzeszczak

Beatrice (Haag) Grezszczak, age 79, of Holland, passed away Sunday, January 16th, 2005 in St. Lukes Hospital, Maumee. She was born February 8th, 1925 to Charles and Mary (Barton) Elliott in Holland, Ohio. She was employed with the Certified Alarm Company for 15 years, retiring in 1971. Beatrice was a member of the First Baptist Church of Perrysburg for many years. She enjoyed bowling and needlework as well as spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Beatrice was preceded in death by her first husband, Gus "Bud" Haag and second husband, George Grzeszczak; sisters, Betty Murphy; Charlotte Maxcy and Alice Barnes. She is survived by her son, Michael (Sherry) Haag of Statesville, NC. and daughter, Patricia Haag of Maumee; grandchildren, Edward; Jennifer; Sarah; Stephanie and Adam; great grandchildren, Nicholas; Christopher and Tiffany.

The family will receive guests Wednesday from 4-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laksey Rd. (419-473-0300) and Thursday from 10-11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Perrysburg, 590 W. South Boundary St. Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the church. Officiating will be Pastor Wayne Dishman. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the church General Fund or Building Fund.
