It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I announce the passing of my dear wife and best friend Beatrice Grace Budzynski at the age of 82 after a four-and-a-half-year battle with breast cancer. Bea was born in Toledo Ohio to Paul and Laura (Graham) Walling. On Tuesday October 11th she left this world to be with Jesus. I will think of her every day, and she will be with me wherever I go. Someday we will be together again. Bea graduated from DeVilbiss High School. God granted us 62 years of a happily married life. Bea stayed home to raise our four children, Michael, Keith, Katherine, and Cheri. She really valued education and each of her children went on to receive multiple college degrees. Once they were in school, she went to work for Lion Store. She decided to retire after I retired so that we could be together. Bea and I loved to travel, and we spent the next 23 years traveling to see our grandchildren and the world. Out of her travels around the world, her favorite trip was to the Holyland with Calvary Church. The highlight of the trip was being baptized in the Jordan River.
In addition to her parents, Bea was also preceded in death by our son, Michael Budzynski and brother, Jim Walling. She is survived by her husband, Leonard M. Budzynski; children, Keith (Lynne) Budzynski, Katherine (Alan) Reifert and Cheri (Baker) Budzynski; grandchildren, Emily, Adam, Noah, Nicholas, Matthew and Julianna; sisters, Dorothy (Frank) Wagner and Marilyn (David) Donahue.
We would also like to thank the staff of Hospice of Northwest Ohio for all of their support during Bea's final journey.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, November 5, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Church, 1360 Conant Street, Maumee, OH 43537. Memorial Services will begin Saturday at 11:00 am in the Chapel.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to in Bea's memory to Calvary Church Mission Fund.
