Beatrice Buckles

Beatrice J. Buckles, age 89, of Toledo, passed away Monday, December 19, 2005 at the Flower Hospital. She was born on October 16, 1916 to Daniel and Irene (Hague) Segur in Toledo. Beatrice worked as an inspector for 40 years for Champion Packaging, now known as Oracle Packing. She enjoyed fishing, reading, doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles in her spare time.
Beatrice is survived by her son: William (Barbara) Buckles; grandchildren: William L. (Mary) and Garrett (Elizabeth) Buckles, Tanya (Kreg) Morrin and Dawn (Travis) Woodbury; 10 great grandchildren; and lifelong friend: Viola Beckman.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Buckles, and her brother Wilford M. Segur.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, December 22, 2005 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will take place on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry S. Craig. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
