Barnie W. Fasnaugh

Barnie Walter Fasnaugh, 92, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away on November 7, 2024 at Manor at Perrysburg. He was born on June 19, 1932 to John and Edith (Embury) Fasnaugh in Toledo, Ohio. Barnie was an US Army veteran, he served in Panama and Germany afterwards he worked for Bunting Brass and later became an honest and hardworking antique dealer. 

Barnie met Edelgard S. Barnes at a Halloween dance and they got married June 30, 1973. They spent 51 years together. He loved listening to classical music and was an active member of the Bavarian Sports Club. 

Barnie is survived by his loving wife, Edelgard; children, John Fasnaugh, Patricia (John) Charping, Susan (Glenn) Laughlin, Sandy (Rick) Quimby; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sister, Dianne (Larry) Lowry. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles; and son, Kurt.

Funeral services were entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Chapel, Toledo. Barnie was laid to rest at Ft. Meigs Union Cemetery. Memorial donations in Barnie's name may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
