Barbara A. Mucci, age 75, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Friday, February 4, 2022 at Ebeid Hospice Residence with her daughter by her side. She was born on December 17, 1946 to Kenneth and Kathryn (Croll) Browne in Whitehouse, Ohio. Barb graduated from Anthony Wayne High School. She worked as an office manager at Morgan Linen Services in Toledo and Boston for many years. After retiring she decided to work in real estate for a while. Barb loved animals, especially her Sammy and Sadie girls. She enjoyed swimming and being on the water. Barb loved cooking, baking cakes and taking care of others. She looked forward to spending time with her children and all of her grandchildren. Barb's smile, spirit and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, Ricky Gillen; husband, Frank Mucci; and brother, Charlie Browne. Left to cherish Barb's memory are her loving children, Andrea Power, Ronald Gillen and Robert Gillen; grandchildren, Devan (Ali) Murtada, Alexander Power, Jacob Power, Luke Gillen, Cole Gillen, Bryce Gillen, Garrett Gillen, and Mitchell Gillen; sisters, Pat Hennes, Connie Studer, Kathy Browne, and Jeanne (Mike) Hagar; longtime best friends, Annette McKee and Deborah Leonard; many nieces, nephews and other dear friends.
There will be no visitation or services at this time for Barbara. The family will hold a private celebration to honor her at a later date. Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel assisted the family with professional services.
