Barbara Mccauley

Barbara J. McCauley, age 69, of Toledo, Ohio passed away September 15, 2014 at Flower Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 10, 1945 in Toledo, Ohio to Louis and Mary (Krajewski) Brahier. Barb organized and established the library at Corpus Christi University Parish, which she directed for 10 years. She was also known for editing and publishing newsletters for various organizations. Barb was active for many years with the Maumee Civic Theatre. She enjoyed going out to eat, playing cards and spending time with her family and close friends.

Barb is survived by her husband of 48 years, Terry L. McCauley daughters, Theresa Towner, Kathleen (John) Bachman and Joyce McCauley-Benner; grandchildren, James, Kaelyn, Josh, Jonathon, Nicole and Nate; sister, Donna Trawford and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ellen Dennie.

The family will receive guests Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). A Wake Service will be held Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 19, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi University Parish, 2955 Dorr Street. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Maumee.
