Barbara A. Kaczmarek

Barbara A. "Barb" Kaczmarek, age 75, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on early Wednesday morning, April 26, 2017 where she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 26, 1942 to Virgil and Mildred (Peake) Day in Fremont, Ohio. Barb married the love of her life, Richard P. "Dicky Poo" Kaczmarek on June 7, 1958 in Toledo.

Barb loved bird watching from her deck in her back yard, crocheting, Nascar and above everything, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In recent months, her strong abiding faith is what carried her through the challenges that she faced. She will be dearly missed and forever loved.

Barb joined her husband, Richard "Dicky Poo" Kaczmarek; son, Ralph Kaczmarek and parents, Virgil and Mildred Day in Heaven and was granted Eternal Peace. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Deborah White (Tom Chromik); grandchildren, Desiree, Crystal, Faith Lynn and Julie; brother, Bruce Day; special niece, Jill; special friend, Sandy; feline friend, Snuggles; cockatoo, Caesar; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made in Barb's memory to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
