Barbara Jaramillo

Barbara R. Jaramillo, age 69 of Toledo passed away Tuesday, March 8th, 2005 in St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee, Ohio. She was born October 6th, 1935 to Joseph and Rosella (Settles) Jaramillo in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Barbara had a love for animals and enjoyed a career as a dog groomer for more than 30 years. She was a person who enjoyed life and treasured the time spent with family and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Jaramillo and Dale Lichtenwald. She is survived by her mother, Rosella (Settles) Jaramillo; brother, Daniel Jaramillo; daughters, Pamela (Fred) Lichtenwald Cheikh; Melanie Lichtenwald Valentine and Nikki (John) Lee Lichtenwald Schafer, Esq; grandchildren, Lindsey and Kerry Aldrich and Bryan "Chucky" and Taylor Valentine; great grandson, Elijah King; and dear friend of 53 years, Nancie (Bill) McClure and canine "friend", Blossom.

There will be a private family service. Because Barbara enjoyed many family and holiday gatherings at The Village Idiot, owned by her daughter and son-in-law, the family invites everyone who knew and loved Barbara "Buffy" to join them in a Celebration of her life, Sunday, March 13th, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. at The Village Idiot, 309 Conant St. Maumee, Ohio.

God has yet to create another Mother who loved her children more than she did. "Mama, you left us far too soon."
