Barbara A. Jaeger

Barbara A. Jaeger age 89, passed away at her home on Thursday November 21, 2024 with her family by her side. The daughter of Milton and Edith (Sawtelle) Schmidt, she was born on October 7, 1935 in Toledo Ohio.

Barb graduated from Maumee High School in 1953. She worked at the Auto Title Clerk of Courts before she married the love of her life, Paul. She was blessed with 3 children, Rodney, Scott and Sherri. Barb enjoyed playing the piano, going to craft shows, ice skating, bingo, gardening and riding horses. She and her husband Paul enjoyed watching the grandkids play sports. More than anything, Barb enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Milton and Edith Schmidt, husband Paul; 2 sons, Rodney and Scott; sister Bev and brothers Bob and Richard. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter Sherri (Michael) Artz, Cathy Jaeger and Janet Jaeger (daughter in laws). Grandchildren, Cory (Zosia) Artz, Tiffany and Kyle Jaeger, Lexi (Chelsea) Scott, Heather (Julian) Boose, Diana Kanneman, Johnny Kanneman, Shannon and Ericka; Great Grandchildren, Grayson Artz, Abbott and Owen Jaeger, Colleen O’Neill, Dominique Hutchisson and Jasmine Boose; Great Great Granddaughters, Miss Lydia Levin and Sunday Scott.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 3 to 7 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (Southwest Chapel), 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo Ohio 43614.
