Barbara J. Goss

Barbara J. "Barb" Goss, age 69, of Sylvania, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at her home where she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 20, 1944 to Harley and Virginia (Frakes) Lince in Toledo. Barb married Larry K. Goss on December 22, 1961 in Toledo and they spent 51 wonderful years together.

Above everything, Barb cherished her family and relished the time she spent with them. She loved shopping with her mother. Barb had a green thumb for her rose bushes and flower gardens around her home. She had a gift for interior decorating and painting and she liked playing card games with her family. Barb will be dearly missed by her family and they will remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandma and sister.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Larry; children, Larry (Peggy) Goss, Christine Edwards, Blane Goss and his son, Dylan House; six loving grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sisters, Darlene (Jim) Dukeshire and Debbie Ruffin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandson, Larry Kent Goss; sisters, Sharon Lawson, Loretta Smith and Carol Worley.

The family will receive guests on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Ravine Cemetery in Sylvania.
