Barbara Ann Daly

Barbara Ann Daly, age 86, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Swanton Valley Care & Rehab. She was born April 6, 1934 in Toledo to Edward and Rose (Ledzianowski) Slasinski. Barb was self-employed for many years. She loved to dance and was a former Dance Instructor with the Fred Astaire Dance Studios. Barb was also known for enjoying visits to the Casinos to gamble with family and friends. She was a longtime member of her Bunko Club remaining friends with the others for years. Barbara enjoyed life and cherished the time spent with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Virginia Slasinski. Barb is survived by her children, Darlene (Randy) Scero, Sheryl Daly-Walker, Michael Daly and Keith (Kathi) Daly; siblings, Robert (Sue) Slasinski, Janice (David) Kukla and Rosalie (Carl) Wisniewski; grandchildren, Jeffrey Gerken, Nicole (Chase) Garverick, Rachel (Joshua) Bates, Katie Daly, Amanda (Kevin) Thomas, Megan Walker and Ava Daly and great grandchildren, Hannah, Allen, Jaylen, Mariah, Julian, Trae and Jaxson.

The family will receive guests Friday, August 14th, 2020 from 1-4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd. (419-392-9500), where services will follow at 4:00 p.m. Burial will be at a later date at Calvary Cemetery.
