Barbara Cox

Barbara A. Cox, age 74, of Sylvania, passed away Monday, March 27, 2006, at the Flower Hospital. She was born on October 13, 1931 to James and Emma (Sheets) Brittson in Toledo. Barbara was an Apartment Manager for the Franciscan Properties for 16 years. She was a very kind, loving woman who will be missed by all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen and Lilas and one brother, Bud. She is survived by her loving family, daughter: Holly (Frank) Dismuke; sons: John Earl and Mark (Rose Hernandez) Earl; grandson: Cody; sister: Ruth Phitzer; brothers: Robert (Doris) Brittson and James Brittson; and nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, March 30, 2006 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo, (419-473-0300) from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Memorial Services will begin at 12:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
