Barbara J. "Barb" Cain

Barbara J. “Barb” Cain, age 56, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at home. She was born on October 5, 1967 to Harold and Kay Byram in Toledo. She graduated high school and attended Owens Community College for a year before starting her family. Barb loved cats in every way possible. She would take in strays, feed them, and nurture them to just help give back. Barb had a huge heart and was also always helping others in need. She loved to play Bingo and take casino trips. Barb liked spending time with her family and friends. Her smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, David Byram and Shawna Byram. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 35 years, Kevin Cain; children, Jason (Jessica), Nicholas and Jennifer Cain; grandchildren, Madysen, Kayleigh, Ronny, Donny, Nikoli and Cheyenne; mother-in-law, Pat Cain; siblings, Richard Byram, Randy Byram, Tonya Winters, Robyn Byram, Bruce Byram, Robert Byram, and Kevin Strawbridge; sister-in-law, Leslie (Norman) Teague; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo, (419-473-0300) with Memorial Services beginning at 12:00 p.m.
