Barbara "Barb" A. Bailey

Barbara "Barb" A. Bailey, age 73, of Camden, MI passed away October 7, 2024 in the comfort of her home. Born on January 16, 1951, in Coeburn, VA, she was the cherished daughter of Everett and Evelyn (Mays) Hobbs.

Barb lived a life filled with joy and adventure. In her early years, she found happiness casting lines and spending serene moments on the lake at her home. As the years went by, her joy shifted to the kitchen, where she delighted in cooking for her family and friends, always filling their hearts (and stomachs) with warmth and love. An animal lover through and through, Barb had a special place in her heart for dogs, reflecting her generous and nurturing spirit.

She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 55 years, William "Bill" Bailey, who stood by her side through every season of life. Barb leaves behind her siblings, Bill Hobbs, Gale (Joe) Hulderman, and Al (Tina) Hobbs; brother-in-law, Barry Elder; along with numerous nieces and nephews who carry forward her legacy of kindness and love.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Brenda Elder, Joyce (Robert) Bailey, Ronnie Hobbs, and Bob Hobbs; as well as her sister-in-law, Sharon Hobbs.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 2:00pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd, Toledo, where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 12:00pm. Burial will immediately follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
