Barbara Ann Smith, age 57, passed away on February 8, 2016. She was born on June 7, 1958 to the late Eula and Wendell Smith Sr. in Toledo, Ohio.
Barb worked for ProMedica for almost 16 years as a Medicare Specialist. She loved animals, especially cats. Barb was a huge fan of the Steelers and the Buckeyes.
She is survived by her siblings, Wendell (Ann) and Kathleen; nieces and nephews, Michael, Jeffrey, Nicholas (Kimberly) and Jennifer (Chris) Klewer.
The family will receive guests from 2-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Toledo Memorial Park.
Memorial Donations may be made in Barb's name to: Maumee Valley Save-A-Pet, 5250 Hill Ave., Toledo, OH 43615.
