Barbara A. Gable

Barbara A. "Barb" Gable, age 79, of Oregon, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center surrounded by loving family. She was born on January 26, 1935 to Joseph and Flora (Adams) Wilson in Tippacanoe County, Indiana. Barb loved attending all of her grandchildren's sporting events; you always knew she was there. She loved to travel with her husband and family. Barb loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Brian "Red" and Don "Big Don" Gable; and many brothers and sisters. Barb is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Donald Gable; children, Beth Ann Wroblewski, Luann (Jim) Mravec and Troy (Paula) Gable; several grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Midge Dawson; brother, Danny Wilson; many other relatives and dear friends.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at VFW Post #5530, 415 E. Central Ave., Toledo, Ohio 43608. The Newcomer Funeral Home (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
