Avis J. Miller, age 88, passed away on January 1, 2024. Daughter of the late Homer and Addie Belle Dodd. Adored mother of Robert (Veta) Miller, Dave Miller, Rick (Claudia) Miller. Beloved grandmother of Selena (Alec) Miller, Sophia Miller and the late Bobby D. Miller. Great grandmother of Marcella, Luca and Leo. Sister of Debra Dodd, and the late Margaret McCafferty, Aggie Short, Robert Dodd, and Diane Henney. Avis joins her feline companions in heaven, Jackie, Delilah, and Lily.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel at 4150 W. Laskey Road Toledo, OH 43623.

A funeral service will be held the following day, Monday, January 8, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel 4150 W. Laskey Road Toledo, OH 43623.

Avis will be laid to rest at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
