Autumn Breanne Short

Autumn Breanne Short, age 25, resident of Toledo, Ohio, gained her wings on Monday, March 28, 2022, at her home. She was born on August 29, 1996, in Toledo, Ohio, to Timothy Short and Brenda (Short) Nichols.

Autumn graduated from Northview High School and had worked in management, at Little Caesars, for two years. She enjoyed the game of soccer and was very competitive. An animal lover, Autumn would take in strays, nurse them back to health, and release the ones she decided not to keep. She was very outgoing and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Autumn always gave a helping hand in those who needed it. She was very caring and would help out in any way she could. Though taken too soon, she made a difference in those in her life. She was a wonderful mom, daughter, sister, and friend and she will be truly missed by all who knew her.

Those left to forever cherish her memory are her son, Dexter Short; father, Timothy Short; siblings, Taylor (Natalie) Short, Amber (Brandon) Keriko, and Skylar Short; a niece that is due in June; her aunts and uncles, Rodney (Melissa) Smith Gwyn and their children, Sarah, Megan, Christopher Binkerd and Laura (Chris) Parsons and Tom (Suzy) Short; godmother, Melinda (George) Truchan, and their children, Chelsea, Heather, and Racquel; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family.

Autumn was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Nichols; step-father, Terry Nichols, grandparents, Leola Schook and Rose (Chalon) Short; and "her person" and best friend, Jonah Montalbano.
