Austin A. Saylor, 65, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2012. He was born on November 16, 1946 to Gladys and Kenneth Saylor in Hagan, Virginia.
Austin was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force, Strategic Air Command. He earned his Master's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toledo. Austin was the owner of Future Product Design. He was a member of ITW Patent Society, he also retired from ITW. Austin was a member of Shelton Park Church of God and ran their Audio/Visual Department. He loved Nascar, playing guitar and listening to Country and Christian music.
Austin was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Audra, Austin II and Angie; mother, Gladys; brother, Rick (Mandi); grandchildren, Brett, Brook, Austin III, Riley, Arden; furry companion, his cat, Smokey and many other dear friends and loving family members.
The family will receive guests on Thursday from 5-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). A Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday in the funeral home. Pastor Scott Isham officiating.
