Audrey Ann Hutchinson

Audrey Ann Hutchinson, age 80, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023. She was born on February 18, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late James and Valerie Hutchinson.
Audrey was an incredible woman who was a loving and dedicated mother to her son, Jason. Audrey was a single parent who raised him without any help from anyone, long before anyone heard of being a single parent. Audrey loved her grandchildren: Jocelyn, Jayvon and Jaelyn.
Audrey had many interests in life, she loved to collect Elvis memorabilia and her most prized Elvis possession was her Elvis Blanket, given to her by her loving Brother, Tom and sister-in-law, Deb. Audrey loved the outdoors, especially gardening. She was a great Genealogist as she was able to trace her family history to the 1600s.
Audrey was a great person to be near. She was kind and generous and everyone who knew Audrey loved her as she did not have a mean bone in her body. Audrey was a professional caregiver her whole life; she was the oldest of 13 children she helped her mother with the younger kids and she also took care of her mother, Valerie until she passed away in 2003.
Audrey was very loved by her son, Jason and his fiancé, Laura. After Audrey spent a lifetime of taking care of everyone, Jason returned the favor to his mom by buying a house and remodeling it so his mom could move in and live out what became the last 6 months of her life comfortably. Jason was her everything and he became her caregiver in the end.
Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving son, Jason (Laura) Hutchinson; grandchildren, Jocelyn, Jayvon and Jaelyn; her loving and best friend anyone could have, Linda Parker; along with her siblings, Joseph (Paula), Arthur, Thomas (Deb), Ray (Dawn), Valerie (Ross) Bassett, and Mary Hutchinson and son-in-law, Robert Townsend.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, James and Valerie (Nicki) Hutchinson; brothers, Jim, Herb, and Walter Hutchinson; and sister, Nicki Townsend.
At this time there are no services held. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
