Audrey A. Brescol

Audrey A. "Tiny Grandma" Brescol, age 81, of Toledo, was called to Heaven peacefully Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo surrounded by loving family. She was born on July 13, 1934 to Harold and Nina (Bower) Leonard in Toledo. Audrey was an avid reader; she loved antiquing and estate sales with her daughters and granddaughters. She always provided a listening ear with unconditional love to everyone. Audrey loved the time spent with her children and grandchildren. She always put everyone else first and will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Terry Brescol; daughter, Sandy Brescol on October 29th, 2015; granddaughter, Destiney Beringer; and sisters, Mary and Linda. Audrey is survived by her loving children; daughters, Sherri Brescol, Laurie (Bobby) Beringer, Lisa (Don) Brescol and Christine (Rick) Chaney; sons, Tommy (Angela), Ricky (Charles) and Stevie (Patty) Brescol; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Bud, Sid, Bobby, Jimmy and Doug Leonard; who Audrey looked up to so much; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive guests on Friday, January 22, 2016 from 4 – 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Memorial Services beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
