Arthur Richard Kershner

Arthur Richard Kershner, age 83, of Toledo, Ohio passed away January 8, 2014 at Whitehouse Country Manor. He was born April 3, 1930 in Toledo to Arthur and Charlotte (Agee) Kershner. Art was employed with the Arco Construction, Rudolph Libbey and Graycor as a job superintendent for many years. He was a Mason and member of the Fort Industry Chapter.
Art is survived by his loving wife, Glenna (Frye) Kershner; children, David, Daniel, Douglas, Dale Kershner and Denise (Philip) Sadowski; grandchildren, Jessica (David), Natalie (Kyle), Lindsay (Brad), Rachel and Leslie (Dave); 11 great grandchildren; sister, Isabell Kershner, and brother, Robert Kershner. In addition to his parents, Art was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Geddes.
The family will receive guests, Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Monday, January 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice in Art's memory.
