Arthur R. Theiss

Arthur R. "Art" Theiss, age 82, of Toledo, passed away peacefully, Sunday, November 15, 2015 at home with his daughters by his side. He was born on January 17, 1933 to Ralph and Norma Theiss in Toledo. Art was an avid fisherman, enjoyed doing arts & crafts and loved doing puzzles. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Theiss; brothers, Ted and Ralph Theiss; sister, Dorothy Manz. Art is survived by his sons, Ron (Carla) and John Theiss; daughters, Deb (Rudy) Franco and Sherry Theiss; step-sons, Adam and Edward; 6 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; special niece and nephews, Diane (Lee) Williams, Larry (Camille) and Ronald (Becky) Manz; and many other nieces, nephews and dear friends.

A Memorial Service for Art will be held at a later date. The Newcomer Funeral Home – NW Chapel (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
