Arthur A Lilje, age 76, of Toledo, passed away Monday, May 31, 2021 at UTMC Hospital. He was born January 20, 1945 in Toledo to Arthur and Alyce (Pieron) Lilje. Arthur graduated from Whitmer High School in 1963. After graduation, he joined the US Army and served his country proudly for 3 years.
Arthur was a Police Officer in Virginia for 19 years then returned to Toledo where he met Cathy and they were married in 1989. Arthur was employed with Pepperidge Farm for more than 20 years retiring at age 75. Arthur enjoyed golf, motorcycles and a good cigar.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 27 years, Cathy Lilje. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Douglas & Janet Lilje; 2 nephews, 1 niece, 8 great nephews and 1 great niece.
