Arnold E. Rife

Arnold E Rife, age 86, of Temperance, passed away April 15, 2020. Arnold was born June 20, 1933 in Pikeville, Kentucky to Hiram and Minerva (Charles) Rife. Arnold served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was employed with the Guardian Industries for many years, he was also an ordained minister serving as Pastor of the Free Will Baptist Church of Fostoria and Free Will Baptist church of Huntington Indiana . Arnold was a lifetime member of the Masons and was a member of the Carey First Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Arnold was also preceded in death by an infant son, Ronald Rife and daughter, Janet Thornsberry. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Clara Rife, daughter, Brenda (Michael) Brosamer, son-in-law, Danny Thornsberry; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

Visitation and Services for Arnold will be private due to the current environment surrounding the coronavirus. Please continue to support Arnold's family during this difficult time by keeping them in your thoughts and prayers. Private family services have been held with burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Brownstown Twp, Michigan.
